Jonathan Heidelberger
Originally from the US, Jonathan Heidelberger lives and works in Bulgaria. He wrote and directed feature Goodbye Hello, awarded Best Film at San Francisco World FF, New York IFF and Boston IFF. He wrote and directed short The Guardian, officially selected at Palm Springs IFF. He worked as a director and producer for the children’s animated show Danger Rangers, shown on CBS Mornings and nominated for a New York Emmy for Best Children’s Programming. Jonathan co-established and ran the Danger Rangers animation studio in Sofia, Bulgaria. His latest short Hole, aka Money for a Funeral, was a Best Short nominee at Oscar-qualifying Edmonton IFF. He is also an award-winning editor: his latest short he edited The Son won Best Short in Cottbus and was voted Best Short of the Bulgarian Film Academy. He is currently editing Eternity Package, aka Money for a Funeral, which he co-wrote and co-developed with Magdelena Ilieva.
