Drago Bago
Drago Bago started acting in the theater at the age of 8, but at the insistence of his parents he gave it up and started studying dance. In his teenage years, however, he managed to escape his parents' idea of his future and began working successfully as an actor in the theater. Later, to better protect himself and his family, he studied law at Sofia University while continuing to act in the courtroom. He writes claims, poetry, and film scripts. He currently works as a lawyer, which gives him access to criminal and civil cases, providing him with material and inspiration for films. His law firm is one of the country's leading firms in copyright counseling. He also advises LGBTQ+ organizations, creating and implementing advertising campaigns, legal strategies, and more. While participating in MIDPOINT's Feature Launch with You Better Be, Drago decided to try out some of the scenes from the project live, resulting in the first Bulgarian LGBTQ+ stand-up that sold out months in advance.
