Andrei Epure (b. 1989) is a Romanian writer and director, working and living in Bucharest. After graduating from the National University of Theatre and Film with a degree in Screenwriting and Film Studies in 2015, he began collaborating with various directors on their feature films. In 2019, he started to direct his own projects with "Maybe Darkness Will Cover Me," followed by the premiere of his second short film "Interfon 15" at the Semaine de la Critique - Cannes in 2021. Currently, he is developing his first feature film "Don't Let Me Die," which was selected as part of La Résidence du Festival de Cannes and his first series project, Vertebrae.
