Hana Cielova
Hana studied scriptwriting at FAMU. Her debut feature film Šiesta veta (dir. Stefan Uher) won the best script of the year award and took part at various international film festivals. She wrote numerous TV films for Czech and Slovak TV. Most successful TV films for CZECH TV include "Kočky" (dir. Jaroslav Brabec), "Kanadská noc" (dir. Zdeněk Zelenka), "Zasaženi bleskem" (dir. Jaroslav Brabec) and "Setkání s hvězdou: Dagmar Havlová" (dir. Jiří Strach). Hana Cielová wrote also numerous episodes of TV series, including "Místo v životě", "Ordinace v Růžové zahradě" (TV NOVA), "Cesty domů" (TV PRIMA) and "Dáma a král" (TV NOVA). The feature film "Ženská na vrcholu/Woman at the Peak" (2019, dir. Lenka Kny) based on her screenplay reached more than 200 000 cinema viewers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and was bought by Netflix. The co-production feature film "Generál/General", based on her script about the legendary Slovak historical figure M.R. Štefánik, is currently in production
