After studying history and political science at the LMU Munich, Romina began to study screenwriting at the HFF Munich (Munich school for Television and Film), where she graduated in 2020. During her studies, her short films "Trennen Lernen" and "Schlaf Gut, Du Auch" have been televised and won awards at various festivals. She also was nominated for the Fox New Talent Award at the 2015 Berlinale.

Romina has been working as a freelance writer for series and cinema since 2018. She was part of the writers’ room and episode writer for the teen crime series "Echos" (Joyn). Other projects include episodes of the series "Fett & Fett" (ZDF) and "Breaking Even" (ZDF Neo). In 2022 she was the head writer for the series "I don’t work here" (ZDF Neo), a comedy about day-to-day racism, which will be aired in March 2023. She is currently developing various series and movies.
