Producer and writer Gabriele Simon studied Creative Producing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). This was followed by a scholarship at the DrehbuchWerkstatt Munich before she started working for Flare Film as a producer with a focus on script development in 2008. Projects she has been in charge of are "Ein Leben Lang", which was nominated for the German Television Award 2022, "Kids Run" by Barbara Ott or "Räuberhände" by Ílker Çatak, for which she also wrote the screenplay and was awarded the Thomas Strittmatter Prize in 2019.
Currently in financing are the international series "Moresnet" with Caviar TV Belgium and "Balaton Brigade" with Joyrider Hungary. She is an alumna of the EAVE Producers Workshop 2018.
FLARE FILM has been producing feature films, documentaries and series for the national and international market since 2008.
