Mihnea Rares Hantiu
Rareş Hanţiu studied film at the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” and has directed a short documentary White is the new white (2016), and four short fictional films, as well as numerous experimental videos.He worked as second unit director for Hackerville (2018) for HBO and Wir sind die welle(2019) for Netflix with director Anca Miruna Lăzărescu. He played the lead in the movie Discordia (2016), directed by Ion Indolean. His interest in cinema fuses with a broad interest in contemporary art, especially in theatre, where he has collaborated on two plays (Splitter - multimedia theatre performance - and First you are born), directed by Attila Bordas. He is also member of a contemporary art group called kinema ikon, in Arad.
