Hanna Szentpeteri
Hanna Szentpeteri is a director and screenwriter, who grew up between New York, London, Budapest, Tel Aviv, and Ljubljana and is trained to be creative, adaptable and efficient in her work. Hanna made her first short film during her Film Studies at Kingston University, titled Sonny and the Lost Room (2015). Her play, Stone, which she wrote and directed, premiered at the Cambridge Fringe Festival in London. Upon finishing her bachelor’s degree with honors, Hanna made her second short documentary film, Land of Shadows (2016), in Tel Aviv. While completing her master’s degree in Film Directing at the Academy of Theater, Film, Radio and Television in Ljubljana, she made two fiction short films: Maruška (2017), and Iva, 24 (2018), and a short film which was funded by the Culture Euro competition in Kino Siška (Center for Urban Culture), titled Band vs Brand (2018). Hanna is now directing her debut, Thursday is the New Friday, and developing her first TV series, Splashing Around.
