Barbora Bereznakova is a film director based in Bratislava and Berlin. She holds a Masters degree from The University of Performing Arts in Bratislava and studied also at Bellas Artes, UPV Valencia and NYFA, NYC, also is alumni of Berlinale Talents 2021, IDFAcademy 2018, ExOriente 2017, DOC.incubator 2016 etc. Her feature documentary debut, Never Happened, nominated for
National Awards Slnko v Siet 2020, premiered at Warsaw IFF in 2019. She stands behind the transmedia project Ask at home. Her recent short film Strigov premiered at DocAviv and Krakow IFF in 2022.
