MIDPOINT Shorts program takes off today!

Five creative teams of emerging filmmakers with short film projects in development are starting their MIDPOINT journey!

Three-day online kickoff begins today, welcoming the participants and allowing them to meet other teams as well as their tutors – the Head of Studies Pavel Marek and producer tutor Marija Razgute.

The participants, coming from the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Lebanon, Slovakia, Ukraine and United Kingdom, will enjoy group works, individual meetings and lectures dedicated to short film topics. Within the three days, they will get ready for the start of their first workshop, which will be held online October 18-22, 2021.

The final workshop will then be organized in January 2022 in Trieste in partnership with Trieste Film Festival and When East Meets West Co-Production Forum.
