Program Shorts is intended for teams of emerging filmmakers and fresh graduates and their short film projects in development.
The program offers group works and individual consultations focused on an in-depth script development, structural dramaturgy. The training also offers production strategies guidance, incorporates distribution strategies into the development process, and offers insights into financing, sales and festival strategies.
We have worked on our selection process and in the new scheme, more teams will get the chance to develop their projects.
The multi-stage selection consists of a 3-day online feedback session and 4-days ideas incubator.
After those two stages, 4-5 selected projects will get into the actual Shorts program, which offers 2 residential workshops.
Shorts are organized in partnership with Trieste Film Festival, and selected projects will get the chance to present themselves at When East Meets West.
