Wedding, Berlin

Ramle and Yazur plan a big traditional Palestinian wedding for their daughter, Bissan, who was born and raised in Berlin. Omar, who is Bissan’s husband to be, has dreamt of this night for the past three years; after he made it to Berlin from Lebanon under very harsh circumstances. Being torn between her family’s traditions, her German qualities, and mostly her complicated choices, Bissan finds herself at a very dangerous crossroad. When Jonas, who is Bissan’s German boyfriend appears at the dancefloor, Bissan argues with Jonas until he leaves heartbroken even though they agreed that she will undergo this wedding. Bissan is left to reconsider all the choices she made and she confronts her parents.
