The Spacehead

Alice (10) and her family move to a village house in order to protect her older brother who is autistic. She calls him Spacehead, because of a helmet, which he wears for his own safety. To avoid prejudice from other children, she keeps his existence secret. But when her parents disappear mysteriously, she has to overcome her sheepishness and ask the children from the neighbourhood for help with searching for and saving them. Spacehead, who can´t be left home unattended, joins in. The children are confronted with his otherness, and he himself undergoes a gradual change whilst on the road.
