Speedway

In a Norwegian town ANTONIO (14), living with his low income mother, is caught breaking into a villa. Knowing the kid from earlier encounters and hoping to save him from a path of crime, retire policeman handling the case gives him an ultimatum. Ether he becomes his apprentice in the art of Speedway racing, or he goes to juvenile prison. Five years later, Antonio is on the right track. He signs a very lucrative, if he wins, contract with a Polish extra League club, pushing the once «golden child of speedway», IWO (24) to the reserves. Several bad crashes has made him edgy and careful, unnecessary traits in the sport. Still having no friends, Antonio cycles around town when he witnesses police divers fishing a body wrapped in plastic out of the river.
