Palindrome

A retirement home. An older man slowly walks towards a sickish woman.Several body and face colors are displayed on a table in front of her. The man and the woman agree without words and he tenderly starts to paint her wrinkled face as if he was caressing a rare bird. From the first moment on, there is a grand, intuitive love between them – but that love has only little future because of their age and sickness. The only movement that is left for it is not forward but backwards. But since there is no shared past they could recall together, they inevitably start imagining their life as lovers going backwards from that point in the retirement home shortly before their death.
