Mr. Moonlight

Rodin is a 50 year-old man, living with his father in his childhood house. He's a child in a mature body, living in isolated bliss. Rodin hasn`t left his neighborhood or his town in a very long time: he`s stuck in his own time, living in a loop. When his long lost mother shows up in a dream one night, Rodin leaves for the Capital City along with one of his best mates, a little white mouse. But the world has changed.There are no more trains leaving for the Capital and, from a point, there are no more tracks. The autumn fields are burning somewhere afar; an almost sci-fi billboard breaks the morning sky . The world is not as he remembers it. The deserted highway reaches a dead end. It`s time for Rodin to say good bye to his tiny friend: Mouse runs along with other small companions of his, beyond the road, beyond the giant cranes, onto the field, forward. Rodin is left with no companion. His illusions drowned out by a world he no longer relates to, the man finally understands that the only door he had to open was the one to his room. Returning home, accepting the fact that his mother was truly dead, he realizes he was never alone and all these were substitutes for something that had always been there: his father. In silence, for the first time in years, Rodin dines with his father.
