Răzvan studied film at Queen Mary, University of London. In 2015 he directed Cu lapte, fără zahăr, short film which got selected in 35+ festivals across 4 continents. His directorial debut feature film, Noaptea Ursului (2019), currently streams on Amazon Prime US & Canada. Part of the first cohort of the Eureka Series programme, organised by Series Mania Institute in partnership with La Fémis. Released his 2nd feature film, Romina, VTM, in January 2023, which, as of June 2023, is the third best selling Romanian film in national cinemas in the last 30 years, the best national launch in recorded history and has been Top 1 Movie in Romania on Netflix for 22 days in a row since its launch on the platform. The film sparked a national wide debate on what is cinema in a country where attendance of local films is at a record low, compared to other European nations.
