Katarina Molakova (1977) graduated from Film and television scriptwriting and dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts, Bratislava, Slovakia. She works as a freelance scriptwriter and script editor as well as a teacher at Department of Film and television scriptwriting and dramaturgy and Department of film editing (Academy of Performing Arts, Bratislava). She wrote / co-wrote / edited numerous produced screenplays for documentary films, short independent animated films, animated TV series for children and TV series for Slovak public TV as well as for Slovak commercial televisions. From 2010 she is in the position of head writer of daily family dramas broadcast on Markiza television – the Slovak leading broadcaster.
