Has written numerous television episodes and motion picture screenplays in Los Angeles and Europe, but he is primarily known as the screenwriter of Disney’s Pocahontas and Mulan, and DreamWorks’ Prince of Egypt and The Legend of El Dorado. He was a writer and producer on the television series Day by Day, Wings and The Torkelsons and wrote episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager. For the past few years, Mr. LaZebnik has lived in Denmark, where he has written movies and television shows throughout Europe and the U.S. His produced movies include the three Treasure of the Templar Knights movies for M&M Productions in Denmark and The Three Investigators: The Secret of Skeleton Island and The Three Investigators: The Mystery of Terror Castle for Studio Hamburg; he also wrote the English screenplay for Asterix and the Vikings and Asterix and the Domain of the Gods for M6 Studios in France. Most recently he wrote the successful TV mini-series Hindenburg for RTL and Teamworx in Germany and the Christmas TV series Ludvig and Santa Claus for TV2 in Denmark. He is currently working on the theatrical musical version of Prince of Egypt wit Stephen Schwartz for DreamWorks.
