MIDPOINT Intensive Bucharest is a script development program open to creative teams of filmmakers (scriptwriter, director, and producer). 
The three-day program is intended for filmmakers coming primarily from Romania who are developing their short fiction film projects.

Organizational information

During the workshop, the teams will work on the creative development of the script. The workshop consists of individual consultations led by Hungarian writer, director and script editor Csaba Bollok.

The workshop takes place within and in collaboration with Cinemaiubit International Student Film Festival in Bucharest.

Who is it for?

  • teams of writers and directors (producers optional)
  • film students and fresh film school alumni

This workshop is primarily open to all the residents of Romania.
The selection might prioritize teams including students or alumni of UNATC.


Eligible countries

  • Romania 
  • international teams are also encouraged as long as at least one member of the team is a student or alumnus/alumna of UNATC
